BUSPlus™ Novax BUSPlus™ is a
multi-priority transit signal priority system that provides priority
for buses and other transit vehicles to pass through traffic signal
controlled intersections with minimal delay to facilitate transit
efficiency and improve service delivery. A highly accurate infrared
vehicle location system is utilized to achieve this result.

BUSPlus™ Emitter The
BUSPlus™ Emitter is an integral component of the Novax BUSPlus™
System. The onboard BUSPlus™ Emitter broadcasts the presence and
location of a bus or transit vehicle requiring priority (including the
required level of priority) as it approaches a signalized intersection.

|
BUSPlus™ Wayside Unit The
BUSPlus™ Wayside Unit detects the coded signal from the BUSPlus™
Emitter indicating the presence, location and level of priority
requested by a priority transit vehicle approaching a signalized
intersection. In turn the BUSPlus™ Wayside Unit passes the information
to the BUSPlus™ Master Unit.

BUSPlus™ Master Unit
The BUSPlus™ Master Unit resides in or near the intersection traffic
signal controller cabinet. It processes the request(s) for priority
from up to four directions from BUSPlus™ Wayside Unit(s) and
communicates the necessary information to the traffic signal controller.

METROTag™
METROTag™ is a transit signal priority system that provides priority
for buses and other transit vehicles to pass through traffic signal
controlled intersections with minimal delay to facilitate transit
efficiency and improve service delivery. A highly accurate in-ground
inductive loop system is utilized to achieve this result.

METROTag™ Transponder
The Novax METROTag™ Transponder is an integral component of the Novax
METROTag™ System. The onboard METROTag™ Transponder
broadcasts the presence and location of a bus or transit vehicle
requiring priority to an in-ground inductive loop as it approaches a
signalized intersection.

METROTag™ SRM
The Novax METROTag™ SRM resides in
or near the intersection traffic signal controller cabinet. It
processes the request(s) for priority from up to two directions from
in-ground inductive loop(s) and communicates the necessary information
to the traffic signal controller.
